The outside lever is continuously locked electrically. It can be unlocked by key from the outside or by switch or power failure. Auxiliary latch deadlocks the latch bolt when the door is closed. The inside lever always free for immediate panic proof exit. Both the outside and inside levers are ADA compliant.
