L Series Commercial Grade 1 Mortise Keyed Entry Single Cylinder Entrance Lock Door Lever SetThe safety of your buildings is something Schlage takes very seriously. Every one of Schlage s L-Series locks meets ANSI Grade 1 standards for safety.Office and Inner Entry Lock: The latchbolt is retracted by the lever from either side when unlocked. When locked, the latchbolt is retracted by use of a key outside, or by a turn of the lever inside. Lock is engaged by use of a key from the outside or by the thumbturn from the inside. The outside lever remains locked until thumbturn is returned to vertical or lock is unlocked by key. The auxiliary latch deadlocks the latchbolt when door is closed.
