DuraVent 020707 NA Flexible Liner 48" x 25 14 Thick Pro Foil Insulator Description

DuraVent, 020707, Flexible Liner, N/A, Ventinox, Vent Pipe, Insulation Ventinox Collection 48" x 25 1/4 Thick Pro Foil InsulatorProFoil is used as an insulator for stainless steel liners in masonry chimneys. It is UL listed insulation and is sized based on vent diameter. Required to insulate stainless steel liner to meet UL 1777 when proper clearances to chimney and framing are not available. 1A clearance from SS liner to interior wall of the masonry chimney and 1A clearance from the masonry to the house framing are required in order to meet UL 1777. If you only meet one of these clearances a 1/4A wrap of insulation is required. If you do not have either of these clearances then a 1/2A wrap or 2 wraps of 1/4A insulation are required (see Double Wrapping 1/4A ProFoil chart below) . If these two clearances are available then no insulation is needed. AluFoil Tape and ProMesh required. Ventinox components are made from either 316SS (VFT) or superferritic stainless steel (VG) . Components feature an integral locking band, avoiding the use of pop rivets. Liners and components provide a penetration free top to bottom connection. When venting solid fuel heaters, Ventinox VFT must be insulatedwith either TherMix or ProFoil blankets to meet UL 1777 requirements.
